So today I had to go down to Ms. Hein's office during English class. I got a letter about going to a jury trial. So now I have to be in court at 8 am July 6th. I had my phone stolen at school in like, November or December and now the kid that did it is denying it. He was caught on school cameras though, so it shouldn't be hard to prove it I don't think. This is such a pain in the butt though, but I know my parents wont drop this so I have to go through with it all. My friend also has to go with me, so it wont be too bad I guess.

Whoa, well, look on the bright side. You get to see the proceedings of a court trial, and contribute to bringing justice. Unless the new cellphone you have in mind is better than the stolen one... Well good luck, by the way.
ReplyDeleteSo your parents are really the ones taking the guy to court? Man, that's crazy. Do you know the person who did it?
ReplyDeleteMaybe it will be like on Law and Order! That would be entertaining enough to watch.
I hope everything works out okay in court.
Well hopefully the administration didn't lie about the kid being caught on camera. If he has a good lawyer and it was in a crowded hallway, it's still hard to prove. But a lot of time's the administration will tell scare people about their action being caught on camera, but it's rarely true, a lot of times the tapes are deleted the next day.
