End of the Year!

It's the end of the school year almost =)
I can't wait for this year to be over and finally go to college. All my classes have been pretty chill the last couple weeks and I haven't had too much work or homework. It's awesome.

Only problem is the book depository. They are horrible. They are saying I didn't take turn in a calculator, which I did at the end of the first semester. I was responsible and they probably lost it or it could have gotten stolen, who knows. Nobody is ever in there to make sure stuff isn't taken anyways. I refuse to pay $100 for a calculator I didn't lose though. So they better find it.

Bday

Yesterday I turned 18! It was pretty sweet even though I didn't do that much. I had to work first, than I came home and opened my presents! I got two t-shirts, a gift certificate to get a massage, and a gift card. My friend got me a few things too, which I thought was sweet. After doing all of that, I hung out with Jacy and Anthony. We had a BBQ and just hung out some, it was fun. I can't wait to get that massage either! =D

Prom/Bday

Saturday was a lot of fun. I went downtown to FOPS with Alisa, Adam, and Nelson and we at pizza at the bottom of the stairway. Then we ran in to some friends downtown and chilled with them for a few. After that, we went to prom for a little while. We only went for like, an hour but it was still fun. Finally, we made it back to Adam's house and chilled there for the rest of the night, and played a little twister. We didn't end up being ready for breakfast until about eleven the next day, we went to Fleetwood Diner. Overall, my day was a lot of fun =) I was able to spend it with some of my favorite people, and it was just awesome.

Today is my birthday! I turned eighteen, finally =D So I'm hopefully going to be able to hang out with Nelson for a little bit after he's done working. He doesn't get off until about nine though, so I'm not sure if he can. If he can't, I might hang out with Alisa or Jacy. Either way, I'm determined to do something fun today.

Scholarship!

Today I found out I got the Morse B. Barker Scholarship! It's only like, $1000 but it's better than nothing =) It can cover about four of my classes so that's pretty sweet. Hopefully I will be able to get some more! I wasn't supposed to find out until Tuesday either, but my friend heard Mr. Van Black and Mr. Brown talking so she told me and I called Van Black about it, he was chill about it though.

Modeling

So Nelson and I can't decide what to have him wear for prom. He has two different suits he tried on to show me and a nice black shirt. He also has two different shoes he is deciding between. Who knew prom was so much work? So now Nelson is going model his two suites, shirt, and two pairs of shoes for my mom and aunt Jackie, sense me and him can't decide. He is shy about it, but he can suck it up =)

Shopping

Today Nelson and I got together after I got off work to look for clothes for him to wear to prom. He can be picky, it's sort of funny. It took us a while, and all we got was a little vest thing to put over his shirt. He still doesn't know what shirt he is wearing yet either. All the shopping for prom has gotten me pretty excited for it though =D I chose the dress so now I have to look for jewelry. Almost done with the shopping!

One of Nelson's headlights are missing because someone ran a stop sign and hit his car. So we couldn't stay out too late to shop. It's really annoying. If it wasn't for that, I probably would have the picked out by jewelry by now. Hopefully the insurance company's talk and fix everything soon!

Leaving

So, my friend is having a get together on Saturday. She's leaving for Swedan on the 13th to live there for about three or four months =( Her dad had to move there for a year because of his job, so now the whole family is moving there for a while. It sucks, I'm going to miss her. The get together should be fun though, there will be a bunch of people there and maybe a bon fire if the weather is nice. At least she wont be gone as long as the rest of her family though =)

Trial

So today I had to go down to Ms. Hein's office during English class. I got a letter about going to a jury trial. So now I have to be in court at 8 am July 6th. I had my phone stolen at school in like, November or December and now the kid that did it is denying it. He was caught on school cameras though, so it shouldn't be hard to prove it I don't think. This is such a pain in the butt though, but I know my parents wont drop this so I have to go through with it all. My friend also has to go with me, so it wont be too bad I guess.

Random

So at the moment I don't really know what to write about.. So I'm just going to write about random things I guess.

Prom is coming up! My boyfriend and Alisa's got accepted, so we get to take them. So a whole four people makes up our group. We are only going for about an hour than we're going to just hang out. It should be pretty sweet.

I have a bunch of things I need to go do right now and I can't because my dad has the car. He dropped his phone in a sink and now will be gone for a long time trying to replace it.. Thanks dad.

I also decided today that I absolutly love Pandora. I find the BEST metal bands on there. I can just listen to one band after another and find ones I've never heard of and it isn't the same music all the time like on my itunes. I also love metal. Especially death metal.
